Vietnam hopes for intensified co-operation with Japan
Vietnam wishes to enhance its collaboration with Japan in a bid to develop the two countries’ strategic partnership in a sustainable and long-term manner, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc told Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam, Hiroshi Fukada during a reception in Hanoi on September 26.
He affirmed Vietnam’s consistent policy of joining Japanese efforts to boost the practical and effective development of bilateral ties, for the benefit of both peoples.
For his part, the Japanese ambassador said Japan attaches importance to its partnership with Vietnam, expressing his wish for the two countries to enhance their co-operation on economy, trade, investment, official development assistance, education and training, and culture.
He confirmed his desire to contribute to enhancing the friendship and co-operation between the two nations.
